We’ve had a fantastic first term of singing together here at Achoiring Voices!

Since our first rehearsal back in February, we’ve grown from 5 members to 40. We’ve tackled music from the likes of The Beatles, Queen, Adele, Van Morrison, Louis Armstrong and many other popular artists from a range of eras.

In June, we made our first public performance at a local garden party, fundraising in aid for Romsey Methodist Church, our rehearsal venue. Despite the slightly damp weather, the performance went down a storm and the event raised over £500 for the Church’s charity project.

We celebrated the success of the choir’s first term with a bring-and-share lunch at the end of July, which was a wonderful social occasion for all the members and really captured the essence of the choir’s warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We look forward to returning for our new term on Tuesday 30th August, (10:30am – 12pm as normal).

If you’re new to Achoiring Voices and interested in singing with us, please feel free to join us for a session – we’re always keen to welcome new members! Similarly, you can get in touch with Joe on 07783 695902 or emailing
